Self described as "the happiest person to talk about depression," LeDonne is an animator, educator, and mental health advocate. His award-winning animated short films "Hanging" and "Dear Dad" have been screened internationally in 30 countries winning accolades such as "Best Animated Short"at the Catalina Island Film Festival and official selection at Animation Day in Cannes. His films focused on personal mental health stories earned additional exhibitions at the 26th European Congress of Psychiatry in Nice, France and the 2nd Canadian Mental Health Association's MH4A National Conference in Toronto. Shortly after graduating with his BFA in Animation he became a professor at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design's Digital Media program helping design computer animation curriculum for two years while working on his independent films. "Reaching OUT" is his final short in development and a personal project retelling his coming out experiences. Recently he joined Nickelodeon as an animator on the beloved CGI reboot of Blue's Clues and You. LeDonne mixes his passion for art and health through his keynote program, "From Hanging to Hang ON." As a speaker, he has given inspiring storytelling presentations to students, teachers, government officials, and the scientific community to address life-saving topics around youth suicide prevention. Outside of animation, LeDonne has painted 4 large-scale murals in his home community of South Jersey, loves fitness losing 100+ pounds, and routinely mentions that he doesn't have any hair.

"When I went through my own hardships I wanted to make sure I was brought down for a reason, and that reason became to pick others up" says LeDonne. "I'm hoping to be an example to youth that no matter how dark life gets for you, you can always find a better ending to your story when you Hang ON to tell it."
