Gain an in-depth and animated look into the moment of a suicide attempt through the eyes and artwork of a survivor. Nick LeDonne retells an emotional story of how he went from nearly attempting suicide in 2014 to shortly after becoming an internationally awarded artist; a story named a "remarkable transformation" by Animation Magazine. LeDonne recounts how he fell into depression, the mindset of a suicide attempt, and how he turned his life around to inspire others. Interwoven in his spoken story are his award-winning animated films that re-visualize the key traumatic moments of his life story: HANGING, Dear Dad, and Reaching OUT.

Nick LeDonne is an independent animator making films to make a difference. His debut film 'HANGING' screened internationally in 28 countries earning multiple awards including 'Best Animated Film' at the Catalina Island Film Festival. 'HANGING' describes LeDonne's experiences with suicidal thoughts which has gone on to aid mental health organizations opening life saving conversations around the world. LeDonne's animated works have been featured in publications including Animation Magazine, Cartoon Brew, and Animation World Network as well as presented a masterclass in Europe's largest arts venue, the Barbican Centre. LeDonne takes care when discussing sensitive topics giving notice at the start of the presentation and at developing points. He also is an animator at heart - who brings his outgoing personality into the conversation. His presentation ranges from touching memories about losing his father to quirky childhood stories of being farted on by a horse. His spoken presentation flows like a feature film with audiences experiencing laughs, tears, downfalls, and successes as we all find our own reasons to Hang ON together.
